Algerian oaks are stately, large trees with a broad-domed crown. They are adaptable to many soil types. Foliage is evergreen in milder climates, and will stay a handsome dark green throughout the year. Algerian oaks are a long lived and drought tolerant species which are well suited to be planted in high fire risk areas, large gardens and streets.
