They are a large, hardy, and fast growing tree that has a broad canopy, mottled flaky bark, and big star shaped leaves that are vivid green -which turn yellow to brown in late autumn. They are suitable as a summer shade tree, street tree or specimen tree in bigger gardens and roadways.
